  • DONG Energy, Denmark. Review of E300 compositional WAG simulation. Implementing hysteresis in saturation functions.
  • Minor oil company, Stavanger. Managing subsurface team and providing reservoir engineering knowledge and reservoir simulation for NCS Pl301 development
  • Suncor, Stavanger. Providing reservoir engineering expertise for the NCS PL135 Beta HPHT discovery. Building and running E100 reservoir simulation model.
  • Ithaca Energy, Aberdeen. Review of chalk reservoir work on UKCS Q 30/6 and providing saturation functions for chalk reservoir simulation
  • Mærsk Oil and Gas, Copenhagen. CO2 pilot in Danish chalk field. Review of recovery mechanism physics, injectivity and simulation results.
  • Canadian Natural Resources, CNR, UK. EOR screening of the Murchison field.
  • EOR offshore experience review for Department of Energy and Climate Change, UK.
  • DECC/NPD joint study. A continuation of the above EOR offshore experience review, concentrating on augmented water flooding.
  • Tullow Oil, Dublin. Review and sensitivity simulation of farm-in opportunity
  • National Grid, UK. Assessment of capacity, availability and injection rates of UK Southern North Sea gas reservoirs and aquifers for CO2  storage


 Major projects carried out as reservoir engineering consultant at Senergy AS, Stavanger, Norway:

  • Petoro, Stavanger. Heidrun and Snorre fields. Simulation of low salinity water injection and Bright Water applying Eclipse 100 surfactant option/tracer tracking. Study and report on the various mechanisms suggested to explain low salinity water injection recovery. Simulation of polymer injection applying Eclipse 100 polymer option.
  • Petoro, Stavanger. Heidrun field. Review of production and simulation results in order to find possible isolated compartments of the field and areas suited to low salinity water injection pilots.
  • Petoro, Stavanger. Lavrans field. Review of operator’s studies and recommendations concerning long time testing of  well and data gathering.
  • DONG Energy, Copenhagen. South Arne. Simulations of CO2 tertiary WAG injection in chalk and pilot design using Eclipse 300. Review of laboratory work and basic physics.
  • Petoro, Stavanger. Smørbukk. Analytical study on reservoir compartmentalisation and pressure communication.
  • Hydro, Bergen. Brage. Analytical study of the Fensfjord formation to identify and qualify the field’s future development opportunities.Interactions between wells were examined applying pressure and production data, tracer studies and 4D seismic.
